Leadership Profile

Ron Fox

Ron Fox

Leadership Development Strategist

Ron grew up outside of Chicago, Illinois and knew during high school that he wanted to be a teacher. After completing his undergraduate degree at Illinois State University, Ron taught at the high school level before moving to Texas to attend graduate school, earning his master’s degree at Texas A&M University. Much to everyone’s surprise, a two-year adventure for graduate school turned into a career and home in Texas.

Ron continued his teaching career at the elementary level and went on to spend nine years creating relationships as a high school principal. He moved into the corporate management world and spent a few years working outside the public school setting.

He once again had an opportunity to follow his true passion, teaching, this time at the undergraduate level at Texas A&M University. From kindergarteners to college seniors, Ron has enjoyed working with students, building relationships, and capturing the hearts of kids of all ages. He became a Capturing Kids’ Hearts summer trainer in 2013 and a leadership development advisor in 2014.

Ron greatly enjoys time with his family. He and his wife, Katie, live in College Station, Texas, with their four active kids: Jordan, Evan, Olivia, and Quinn.
