Diane Wilborn grew up in beautiful northern California. As an athlete, she was “winning” in the pool before later winning in the classroom. She graduated from Centre College of Kentucky where she earned All-American honors in springboard diving all four years. She went on to earn a master’s in math education from Vanderbilt University, and a master’s in education administration from the University of Colorado.

Having taught at the elementary and secondary levels, Diane spent the bulk of her career teaching high school math. She also coached swimming and diving and was named Colorado’s “Diving Coach of the Year” in 1999 and 2003. She spent seven years as a middle school administrator in charge of athletics and professional development.

Diane joined the Flippen Group in 2011 as a leadership development strategist. She provides professional development for teachers, administrators, and business professionals, helping them strengthen their leadership in both their professional and personal lives. Leadership development is a passion of Diane’s. She enjoys the opportunity to empower others to lead and be a winner in their classrooms and in their personal lives.

Diane lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado with her husband, Greg, and three beautiful children: Tyler, Carly, and Micah. When she is not working with teachers and school staff, she enjoys watching her own children perform on the stage, on the basketball court, and on the soccer field. She loves to travel, exercise, and spend time with family and friends.
