Leadership Development Advisor

To say that Emily is passionate about teaching is an understatement. She thrives on being part of a team that values building relationships and growing a positive, collaborative culture.  Her passion extends to developing and implementing processes that help empower others to achieve great things.

Emily was born and raised in Dallas, TX and graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Biology and Chemistry.  She began her teaching experience at Highland Park High School but soon moved with her family to Colorado where she worked with high school and middle school students for fifteen years in Academy School District 20.

While living in Colorado Springs, Emily earned a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado and a Gifted Education Endorsement through the Colorado Department of Education.  She also earned her Educational Leadership credentials through Denver University. Currently, she is on the Process Champions team for the Colorado Preparatory Academy and is implementing Capturing Kids’ Hearts in the online school environment.

Emily and her husband, Jason, reside in Fort Collins, Colorado. They can be found enjoying all the outdoor activities that living in Colorado provides.
