Leadership Profile

Jamie Millan

Jamie Millan

Leadership Development Strategist

Jamie’s bright disposition was cultivated in sunny Southern California, where she was born and raised. Despite challenging familial and community circumstances, she thrived during her teen years by being actively involved in school activities such as theater, cheerleading, and student leadership. These experiences helped shape her character and mold her career aspirations to be a leader in all she does.

Jamie ventured across the country for college, graduating from Georgetown University with a degree in English literature. Combining her passion for working with young adults and literature, she became a high school English teacher, cheerleading coach, and activities director. Here she discovered a love for helping students realize their potential by overcoming both the external challenges of life and the self-imposed obstacles of limiting beliefs.

Jamie earned her master’s degree in educational leadership and became an assistant principal. As an administrator, she uses her communication skills and empathy for others to help empower students, parents, and teachers to maximize their impact on others. She enjoys combining high energy and humor to engage educators in the power of the Capturing Kids’ Hearts process.

Jamie enjoys spending time with family and friends, practicing yoga, spending time in nature, and reading motivational books.
