Alison Holmes Patterson credits Capturing Kids’ Hearts for much of her success in the classroom, on the track and in her personal relationships. Originally from Louisiana, Alison excelled in college as a scholar and track and field athlete.
She is currently a business education and LeadWorthy teacher, along with coaching track and field and basketball in Garland ISD. After spending five years in corporate sales she is very thankful to have found her purpose, followed it, and had the opportunity to positively impact the lives of her students, athletes, peers, and anyone she encounters. In 2017, while attending a Capturing Kids Hearts 2 training, she met her husband, Shayne.
Shayne and Alison wed in 2019 and absolutely love and live the principles of Capturing Kids’ Hearts. They love to say that “we went to Capturing Kids’ Hearts 2 to learn how to more effectively capture kids’ hearts, and ended up capturing each other’s”. Her most common activities surround friends, family, faith, traveling, Camp Gladiator workouts, and enjoying the little things in life. Wherever Alison goes she simply wants her heart to shine through and is willing to help whoever she can.
