Leadership Profile

Carrie Cassata

Carrie Cassata

Leadership Development Advisor

Carrie Cassata has always had a heart to serve and a “Whatever It Takes” attitude. Growing up in East Texas, she hoped to start her teaching career immediately upon graduating with her education degree – but a hiring freeze shifted her to working in corporate America as a legal administrator for nine years.

Marriage and children entered the picture, and Carrie decided she was the best nanny for her son and daughter. She stayed home for nine years to raise Audrey and Joey, finding her talent for teaching useful. When they entered public school, Carrie began serving as a family consumer science teacher for Magnolia ISD.

She just completed her twelfth year of teaching and her eleventh year using the Capturing Kids’ Hearts process in her classroom and personal life. She teaches a variety of classes, ranging from fashion design to child guidance.

Carrie is enjoying her adult children and continues to teach full-time. She is committed to sharing with other educators the success of implementing the Capturing Kids’ Hearts process in classrooms and schools across the nation.
