Leadership Profile

Christine Ramsey

Christine Ramsey

Leadership Development Advisor

Christine Ramsey’s connection to Capturing Kids’ Hearts began early as a student of the very processes she lives today. When Christine was a 9th-grade student at Deer Park High School, she was enrolled in Teen Leadership which highly impacted her educational experience and developed her leadership skills. As a student, she was invited to speak at Capturing Kids’ Hearts conferences in Round Top, TX to share these experiences with other teachers.

Christine was inspired to bring these same experiences to other students and went on to graduate from Texas A&M University. She began her teaching career at her former campus, Deer Park High School, teaching Algebra. After marrying her husband, Wayne, she moved to Bryan, TX and teaches at Davila Middle School. She encountered the Flippen Group once again when the entire faculty was sent to a CKH training. The following year, she was asked to teach the first Teen Leadership class on her campus. Christine was excited to come full circle and teach the same class that had such a huge impact on her as a student.

That year, the Flippen Group saw Christine in action making a difference in students’ lives and invited her to become a part of their training faculty. She is passionate about sharing with others the impact the Capturing Kids’ Heart process can have since she has seen it from both sides, first as a student, then as a teacher.

Christine currently resides in College Station, TX with her husband, Wayne, and their son Hudson. They love spending time with their family and friends.
