For over 20 years Kim has brought her “whatever it takes” attitude and passion for excellence to the field of education. She has served as teacher, facilitator, and administrator in various positions where she worked in adult, elementary, and secondary education.
Even though Kim joined the Flippen Group, she is passionate about maintaining her position as Head of School at CrossPointe Academy where she has worked for the past 16 years. Although in school administration, Kim continues to teach LeadWorthy The Course (formerly Teen Leadership) because she is dedicated to seeing young women and men acquire the skills that will propel them forward in life.
Kim describes herself as a “moment girl”- live it, enjoy it and be excited about the next part. She enjoys the simple parts of life, breathing deeply, noticing the birds, watching the trees sway, smiling just because, sipping tea from china cups and quiet afternoons. Kim lives in Georgia with her wonderful husband Richard. They have four beautiful and mostly grown daughters, Jessica, Emelia, Abby and Meghan.
