Growing up in Arlington, Texas — education is the family business for Kristin East. After all, her grandmother, mother, and four aunts pursued a career in teaching…It is in her blood! She became a high school teacher of English, psychology, and public speaking. Kristin has been enjoying over 24 years in education as a classroom teacher with the Lewisville Independent School District.
During her career, Kristin has been involved with curriculum writing, mentor programs, and athletic coaching. After attending Capturing Kids’ Hearts in 2012, Kristin knew the positive impact it would make on students and became a LeadWorthy Course Leader. She has seen lives change in her classroom using Capturing Kids’ Hearts processes and is very passionate about sharing it with others.
Kristin lives in Flower Mound, Texas and has two amazing children, Jack and Erin. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs, Ava and Oliver.
