What does it take to become an honorary Texan??? It takes a TEXAS sized personality, the ability to tell a TEXAS sized story, and a robust TEXAS sized laugh. All of which, Mark Sullivan has in spades. He hales from Newcastle, Australia and the land down under.

Mark began his career after retiring from a globally successful life as a competitive dancer. It’s his love of teaching that brought him to apply his competitive skills to schools around the globe including the prestigious MIT and Commonwealth School in Boston. He brings qualifications that include Training & Assessment, Language Literacy & Numeracy along with a Certificate IV in Disability.

Mark is always looking for the best approach to have the greatest impact on kids. With this in mind, he began his relationship with the Flippen Group in 2000. He was responsible for extending Capturing Kids’ Hearts and the Flippen Leadership trainings to Australia. Even though it is time away from his precious family, Mark travels to the states each and every summer to facilitate summer Capturing Kids’ Hearts events across the USA.

Mark is married to his beautiful wife, Di. They reside in Merewether, Australia where they are the proud parents to Blake and Heath. Mark is a full time Dad and part time soccer coach to the team. His competitive nature continues to drive him to be the best in all he does and loves.
