She graduated from Bryan High School and went on to Texas A&M University, earning a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies and graduating as a Distinguished Honor Graduate of the College of Education.

Melissa’s teaching experience began at the elementary level and moved on to Bryan High School, where she taught algebra and geometry, and coached tennis teams. The tools she learned made a huge difference in the classroom and with her students, as she made it part of everyday life with her classes and teams.

Melissa’s heart is the most full when she is spending time with her incredible husband, Kyle, and their amazing kids, Diana, and Luke. They enjoy being outside, playing games, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.
