Originally from New York, Michele Krantz did not start out to be an educator. She graduated with a degree in music composition. After working as a recording engineer and musician in New York City, she then decided to pursue a career as a teacher. After moving to California, Michele worked at the both middle and high school levels teaching history, psychology, video production, and government. While she enjoys working with students from all backgrounds, she has found her passion working with students from diverse backgrounds who do not have economic advantages.
Having been trained in Capturing Kids’ Hearts 1 and 2, Leadership Blueprint, and as a Process Champion, Michele has seen first-hand the impact Capturing Kids’ Hearts can have on a school. She has seen the EXCEL process transform teachers and students to create a positive environment where students truly feel loved, valued and empowered, and the academic success that follows. Her school earned recognition as a Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase School in 2019. Michele joined the Flippen Group in 2019 and is thrilled to share this process with others throughout the country.
Michele lives in the Los Angeles area with her college professor husband, Joel, and their daughters Natalie and Samantha. She enjoys serving as a Girl Scout Leader and leads parenting workshops throughout her community. Michele loves languages and culture, and is actively learning Spanish and American Sign Language.
