Rebecca Maritt loves kids – young ones, teen ones, and especially the quirky ones. Throughout her time as an educator, Rebecca has focused on helping kids pursue their best work through academic challenges while also helping them understand their immeasurable value in the community.
Rebecca traveled the corporate road on her way to the school yard, enjoying a 15-year career as a radio and television journalist while also investing in kids through weekly programs. After leaving her broadcast career for better family hours, she spent two years implementing a non-profit elementary program with an emphasis on dynamic and creative curriculum.
Following the inspiration of her father and brother, Rebecca became a secondary educator teaching English and LeadWorthy. She quickly grew into a resource building a leadership culture and family atmosphere for her campus.
Rebecca is a proud Texan married to her high school best friend, Captain America 😊. They live in a house on a dirt road with their three kids. She loves to host families at ‘Maritt Park.’
