It’s “life at a different altitude” for Susan Manst teaching at the Air Academy High School located on the base of the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado. But it’s her “attitude” that sets her apart from others. She is the Performing Arts Department Chair and an innovative learning coach on her campus.
Susan runs a very active theatre program at her campus. After attending Capturing Kids’ Hearts for the first time, she immediately went back to her classroom and started implementing the process. As a Process Champion Susan mentors other teachers to be successful in the process along with teaching the character education class, LeadWorthy.
Susan lives in Monument, Colorado with her husband, Dave and kiddos. They have three children: Rachel, Megan and Gabriel and their dog, Dakota. During the summer, she enjoys hiking, running, cooking, reading, and gardening. But in the winter, you’ll find her skiing the Rocky Mountain slopes.
