Trish Douglas

Leadership Development Advisor

Growing up in Georgetown, Texas, Trish was inspired by many outstanding and passionate educators who were influential in her decision to become a teacher. Trish attended Temple Junior College and Texas State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in music with all-level teaching certification.

She has taught both elementary and secondary students for twenty-three years. She taught middle school choir in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD and eventually landed back in Georgetown to raise her family. During her career, Trish has been known for building successful programs through her love of people and passion for building relationships.

Trish currently serves as the head choral director at a high school in Georgetown ISD and teaches Teen Leadership. Following her trainings in Teen Leadership and Capturing Kid’s Hearts three years ago, she has seen firsthand how hearts have been captured, and lives have been changed.

Trish is married to Nathan Douglas, DVM, and they reside in Georgetown, Texas. Together, they have raised two amazing children, Noah, and Maddie. Noah is studying at Texas A&M to become a dentist, and Maddie will play volleyball for the Aggies in the fall of 2016 while pursuing her degree in elementary education.
